She has lived with unipolar mania since 1978, documenting her manic episodes throughout this period. Dr. Canolty has extensively studied her own condition, and the resulting research data is all part of this collection along with her personal correspondence, professional files, and the physical and audiovisual journals that she produced during manic episodes.
